| Cape Girardeau, along the Mississippi River is home to Southeast Missouri originally began as the Third District Normal School. Until 2005 the school was known as the "Indians" but was changed in 2005 after a movement by Student Government, the Booster Club and the National Alumni Council. Rush Limbaugh was a student for a year before dropping out. | ||
