In Northeast Pennsylvania, there is the city of Wilkes-Barre. Home to, among other things, King's College, alma mater of J.J.'s father. Wilkes-Barre has it's own interesting history, as NOT noted on this historic marker.
Wilkes-Barre is located in the Wyoming valley. It was from this valley that a set of western settlers set off across the continent to found the state of Wyoming. What an original name!
