No Waffling Here

Around the nation, there is no place quite like the Waffle House - good food served up 24 hours a day. Whenever he travels, NOT Duck and some of his companions try to visit these establishments if he can. Friendly service, even for a small duck and a jukebox that features all those great songs about the Waffle House.

According to their brochure:

Waffle House began as the dream of two neighbors who envisioned a company dedicated to people - both customers and employees. On Labor Day 1955, the dream became a reality as the first Waffle House opened for business in Avondale Estates, Georgia, a suburb of Atlanta. Soon after, the business grew throughout Georgia and to neighboring states. these early restaurants established the famous Waffle House reputation of serving "Good Food Fast" in the friendliest atmosphere.

On September 5, 2005, Waffle House turned 50, and now encompasses over 1,400 restaurants.

The duck's first, and his favorite Waffle House is in Tuscaloosa, Alabama.

Taking a trip to Nashville, he stopped by this Waffle House in Hartsell, Alabama, off of Route 85.

Again in the state of North Carolina there came a Waffle House to bring breakfast. This Waffle House is located in Jonesville, NC, I-77, Exit 82

One thing to love about the Waffle House is the Waffle House Juke Box.   Filled with song after song celebrating the eatery, it includes such specialized hits as: (Courtesy of article from the Nashville Scene)
