The trip to St. Louis seemed to be uneventful until NOT and Dave found themselves in the middle of nowhere, on a highway with no name. Out looking for the big "O" it seems.

At first things went well - though the pair did have to stray into Arkansas for a while. Luckily, a friendly tour guide helped advise them how to avoid the state patrols that may be looking for friends for the governor.
Soon, mile after mile wore on. "I'm hungry," delcared NOT. As they rolled down the highway, Dave was in need of some gas. Pulling into a station in Crystal City, MO, NOT spied his vending machine. "Oooh, fresh bait" he exclaimed. But alas, he was out of quarters, and the machine only took change. He would continue to go hungry.
As fate would have it, the duo strayed close to Southeast Missouri State University. "I know someone there!" quacked NOT. So to get their bearings and get off the road of nowhere, they swing in and visited with former Tufts staffer, Jim Settle.

With a full tank and a full belly, as well as proper directions, the duo were flying along the highway, heading towards the gateway to the west - St. Louis.
