The Great Northwest

With Seattle behind them, and San Francisco ahead, there is a whole lot of country in between. Luckily, some of it is just civic - like a visit to Salem, Oregon and it's strange round "dome" with what looks like a super-hero on top.

The Northwest has a large number of volcanoes, and occasionally they get that gassy buildup (kind of like NOT's friend Bob) and they explode (not like NOT's friend Bob. Yet). One explosion created a hole in the ground that became Crater Lake. NOT and Dave found it to be the most gorgeous part of the trip to date.

You never know where you are going though, and when  you will find home. For some, sweet home is not in Alabama, but rather in Oregon. But can you really go home again?
