I Quack L.A.

After a frustrating look for someone famous to discover the duck, NOT and Dave continued to explore LA, but instead of the celebrities coming to them, they would go to the celebrities where they work. At the studio.

First stop was Universal Studios. At first NOT was not amused, having run from the tar at the La Brea Fossil Pits, he did not like the thought of being confronted by live versions of the dinosaurs which had been caught in the pits. He was not even swayed by the idea that he was a descendant of these big lumbering creatures. What if they squash me? Then where will I be?

The crowds were dense as he wandered into the "Back to the Future" scene at the studio. Suddenly, he noticed that he was alone - where had Dave gotten to. But the show started, so NOT settled in to enjoy himself. But the actor on stage playing Dr. Emmett Brown looked really familiar. Suddenly, it was clear to him - that actor was Dave!  And he, like in the movie was in danger of being electrocuted.

NOT quickly flew up and landed on Dave's hand. "Do you know what you're doing?" he quacked. Suddenly, the electricity hit, and the air was filled with the smell of singed feathers. Ducks do NOT make good conductors.

Flying a bit more hazy due to his brush with electrocution, NOT wandered outside, only to be confronted by a couple of jokers. He was not in the mood to laugh or to meet sort-of celebrities.

Once he was recovered, NOT headed over to Warner Brothers. Maybe he could meet those animated stars like Bugs Bunny or Daffy Duck. He spied the famous water tower and flew over to it, disappointed that there was only water, and nary a sign of Yakko, Wakko or the cute Dot.

And still nothing!

Not was beginning to despair, when suddenly he came upon a crowd - Lorne Michaels was getting a star on the Walk of Fame.  And look - there were celebrities galore - Chevy Chase was giving the award to Lorne! And Rob Lowe was in the front road hiding behind sunglasses! And even cast members of Saturday Night Live were there!  What a find.

And some of the celebrities were friendly and began to take a shine at NOT. He got to make friends with Chris Kattan.

Fluttering away happy after meeting famous people, NOT didn't keep his eye out, and as a result ran into an eye - of CBS. While there and dazed, he found himself with Dave at a taping of Politically Incorrect, where he tried to become a star himself on camera. Afterwards, he received a personal wave from Craig Kilborn. NOT had seen his celebrities. Sigh.
