Rising into the Georgia sky besides Interstate 75 in Cordele is an unique site. It is here that you find what is commonly referred to as the Confederate Missile.
As the sign explains this Titan I Missile was erected in 1969 as the first (and as far as NOT knows, the only) Confederate Air Force site.
