Trekking Baxter State Park |

March 2005 |
For a winter hike, it was up to Baxter State Park in Maine, for a bit of hiking during the lull between two nor'easters.
NOT finds that this is the only way to travel in a snow hike.

The Appalachian Trail bears back off the road towards Daicey Pond. It's 1.6 miles that way, but the roads there. Still 3.25 miles to go though.

NOT stays back but still enjoy s the fire in the small, cozy cabin.

Seema says hi to NOT.

NOT warms up for a while indoors.

It's sunrise and NOT's ready to get hiking again!
