Steamboat Springs, Colorado |

On afternoon, NOT found himself spending a little too much time listening to John Denver's Greatest Hits. See NOT had put on the album thinking it was Bob Denver's greatest hits, but this guy sounded nothing like Giligan.
What NOT did end up getting was a hankering to experience some Rocky Mountain High for himself.
On the plane, NOT was bored.

He tried to read How Green Was My Valley, but found it sooty. But it also turned out to be prophetic, once NOT landed in Steamboat Springs, Colorado.

Now NOT had heard that Steamboat Springs was a big skiing area. But he didn't see any snow in the distance and doubted this. He even rode up the mountain, but found very few skiers, and even less snow.
After doing a bit of searching, he finally did find a skier, but somehow, he seemed to be making very little progress.
"How Curious," thought NOT.

Soon, though, NOT realized that he was visiting in the summer, and he was more likely to find cowboys than skiers at this time.
He quickly found one in nearby Craig, but didn't find him very communicative.

In a desire to fit in, NOT tried to find some cowboy boots for himself.
Unfortunately, they didn't seem to make them in avian sizes.
Oh well. NOT didn't want to be a cowboy anyway.
