The Night the Lights Quacked Out In Georgia

Athens Georgia

With J.J. Kwashnak and Russ Minton

Athens is a popular name for cities. There's the famous one in Greece. Boston is sometimes referred to as the Athens of the new world, and the University of Georgia is  located in Athens. There's not a whole lot more in Athens except for the University. However, there is an interesting piece of weaponry in front of the City Hall

The only double barreled cannon ever made. Produced during the civil war, it was supposed to fire two cannonballs simultaneously, with a chain between them, mowing down everything in its path. Unfortunately, they never seemed to fire at the same time and the weapon was deemed to be not practical. So the only version stands here in Athens to this day.

Luckily, other signs of intellectual life were found in the town at the University of Georgia. NOT was nervous still, but he didn't see any Dawgs around. Lucky him.
